Letter IntroOnboarding Letter
You might say
Before showing any feature, open like a letter: a dark screen with one greeting, then a letter card floating onto a soft gradient, lines typing themselves out.
A letter intro is a tactile onboarding pattern: serif type, soft gradients and a slightly tilted paper card turn loading and signup screens into the ritual of opening a letter.Pace matters more than parts — lines fading in one by one, the card gliding in at an angle, a caret blinking on paper. None is complex alone; the combination is what sells it. Tap to advance or leave it be and it loops: two ways to consume the same demo.

Design Principles
- Emotion before features: the first screen holds one sentence and one mood — users should feel the product before operating it
- Fade lines in one by one: roughly 600ms apart, so the copy reads like someone speaking beside you
- Keep the letter card tilted: 3–5 degrees plus a soft shadow is what makes paper feel placed, not pasted
- Tap to advance, idle to loop: active users drive, browsing users get an auto demo — both paths stay open
