Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-10-01
This page covers three things: what BuildHub gives you, the rules for using it, and who carries which responsibility once you pay. Signing in or paying means you have read and agreed to the following.
1. What BuildHub is
BuildHub (buildhub.cn) is a learning site for people who don't write code. We explain front-end, back-end, AI and Git concepts in plain language, then add curated skills, products we actually tested, copy-ready prompts and step-by-step playbooks.
The site is run by an independent developer. Browsing stays free forever and needs no account; only PRO costs money.
2. Your account
Sign-in uses an email address and a one-time code. There is no password — your email is your account.
One email is one account. Don't share, lend or sell it.
You can ask us to delete your account any time by email. We then remove your email, sessions and favorites.
3. PRO membership
PRO is a paid plan, currently monthly, yearly and lifetime. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
PRO includes unlimited favorites (free accounts hold up to 20), cross-device sync for your favorites, multiple collections with notes, playbook forks beyond the free one with their progress saved, and a one-click Markdown pack of your favorites, collections and playbook progress. Site-wide search and reading stay free for every account.
Monthly and yearly plans simply expire. There is no auto-renewal and we never charge you again without you placing a new order.
Benefits may evolve with the product. Within a period you already paid for we won't remove features you could already use; if a benefit has to shut down we compensate pro rata for the remaining time.
4. Payment and refunds
Payment runs through WeChat Pay. Tenpay settles with us; we never see or store your card details.
A created order is not a paid order. Service is delivered only when payment lands and PRO shows as active.
Refund rules, including the cases where you can get your money back, are on the Refunds & Support page. Please read it before paying.
5. Using the content
Explanations, tutorials, prompts and playbooks are for your own learning and for building your own products. You are free to use the methods and prompts in what you ship.
When quoting our material, credit BuildHub and don't present rewritten copies as your own original work.
Without permission, don't scrape all or large parts of the site to republish, mirror, resell, or feed into public datasets. Maintaining this site is our own cost, and we can't support that use.
6. What isn't allowed
Don't use the site to publish or spread unlawful content, and don't use the sign-in flow to bother other people.
Don't brute-force verification codes, mass-create accounts, or otherwise disrupt the service.
Accounts that break these rules may be suspended without a refund.
7. Liability
We provide learning material and reference methods. Tech choices, product decisions and business bets you make from them are yours. We work to keep content accurate but don't promise success.
If a fault of ours — a bug, wrong data, our negligence — causes you loss, our liability is capped at the amount you actually paid for the related order.
Outages caused by force majeure or by third-party services (WeChat Pay, our mail provider, our cloud host) aren't compensable, but we'll restore service and tell you plainly what happened.
8. Updates and misc
This page changes as the product does; the update date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are also announced by email.
These terms are governed by the law of the People's Republic of China. Disputes go to email first, then to the court with jurisdiction where we operate.
